Today is the first day of BREAST CANCER awareness month. Sister’s Expression would like to remember all
those who fought a good fight and those who loved them. I am sure they will forever live on in our
memories and dreams. SE is sending special
love to Sara Harper-Chatmon and Deirdre Buckles-Alford as they celebrate the
lives and legacies of their mothers. We
would also like to remember their mothers for raising such incredible women
that I am blessed to have met. In
addition, please take the time to add any other people you would like
remembered during this month!
P.S. Remind someone that self-examinations can save their life!
Love,
Mandy
Thanks for making a page where women can feel free to be a voice for each other... very creative and uplifting...Twin (Taja)
ReplyDeleteTaja..hopefully you do not share this experience but I have met many women who spread hatred towards each other, therefore Sister's Expressions was created. I am committed to supporting ALL women. Thanks for joining us and I look forward to Celebrating your life as well. Keep me posted on the blessings in your life.

I just wanted to remember my classmate and yours too by the name of Coki Bennett (NHS Class of '90') who struggled for years with this disease until God took her home... May she continue to live on in others as we celebrate this time for her as well..
ReplyDeleteTaja...thanks sooo much for taking some time out for Sister's Expressions, but more particular for remembering Coki Bennett..it's through persons such as yourself that her memory will live on. Although, we miss her we can celebrate her poise, beauty, intelligence and her awesome smile...Glad you're a TIGER and thanks for joining us!
